Bitcoin Blasts Past $84K as Treasury Yields Ease Off Record Levels

Bitcoin (BTC) surged past $84,000 on Thursday as US Treasury yields eased off record levels. According to CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index, the cryptocurrency gained 1.28% to reach $84628.51, its largest percentage increase since September 21, 2026.

Economist Saifedean Ammous believes Strategy's (NASDAQ:MSTR) Bitcoin treasury model may be impossible for other companies to replicate, citing Michael Saylor as a unique figure who can make it work.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs staged a turnaround in the third quarter, attracting $6.34 billion in net inflows after losing roughly $5 billion in the second quarter, according to SoSoValue data.
