Bitcoin Blazes Past $80K: Bulls Eye Next Targets Amid Signs of Slowdown
Bitcoin has broken through the $80,000 resistance zone and is trading at $80,677.39, up 2.7% over the past day and a significant 24% in the last week.
This milestone was anticipated by one expert who monitors price patterns using chart-based forecasting methods, which pinpointed this range as the target for weeks.
The clearing of this resistance zone is crucial because it could pave the way for a larger rally, potentially reaching $83,000 to $95,000 over time. However, if momentum falters and drops below $76,680, Bitcoin's price could slide towards the support zone between $70,500 and $75,138.
Interestingly, some indicators have shown that despite the upward trend, there are signs of a slowdown in the rally. The expert noted that price has been making smaller highs while its underlying momentum indicator weakens each time, which analysts consider an early warning sign that a rally might be losing steam.
