Bitcoin Bounces Back on U.S. Stock Market Rally, But Still Faces Significant Resistance
The recent U.S. stock market rally may have saved Bitcoin from further decline, but it's not out of the woods yet. The BTC price dipped below a bull market trendline and hit horizontal support at $62,250 on Monday, only to bounce back after the stock market rallied almost to a new all-time high.
This bump in sentiment likely helped Bitcoin regain its footing above the 200 Simple Moving Average (SMA), but it still faces significant resistance from horizontal lines and the top of a descending channel. If the price can break above the 200 SMA, it may be able to continue its upward momentum.
However, the shorter-term Stochastic RSI indicators are signaling bearish momentum, and the daily chart shows that the BTC price has fallen out of an ascending wedge formation on the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator line. This could signal a dangerous time ahead for Bitcoin.
