Bitcoin Breakout to $90K Hinges on One Crucial Level
Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe believes that breaking above $84,800 will send Bitcoin's price towards $90,000. This comes after spot Bitcoin ETFs saw their strongest week since October 2025, with inflows reaching nearly $2.4 billion.
The case for a push higher started with fund flows, but the buying did not sustain, and prices fell despite continued inflows. Van de Poppe said that 'there's only one level that Bitcoin needs to break, and then, once again, we'll continue to grind higher,' referring to $84,800.
Bitcoin's price has been trading in the $84,000 range, and a breakout above this level could be a catalyst for further gains. The cryptocurrency last traded near the $90,000 zone on January 20, but has spent eight months below it.
