Crypto markets experienced a rebound on August 25 as Bitcoin rose above $80,000 for the first time in over three months. The lead cryptocurrency gained 0.3% to $78,932.12, while Ethereum fell 0.5% to $2,460.57. Solana increased by 1.8% to $97.93.

The total crypto market cap rose by 0.5% to $2.47 trillion, with the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) attracting over $209 million in funds on August 24 and the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) gaining $105 million. The influx of institutional demand is driving prices upwards.

The increase in crypto's momentum has sparked concerns about its sustainability, with some speculating whether prices have finally bottomed out. The outcome will depend on various factors, including Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole conference on Friday and potential Senate action on key crypto legislation in September.
