Bitcoin Breaks Above $80k, Two-Year MA in Sight
Bitcoin surged above $80,000 and traded at around $86,015 after a 10% weekly rise and a roughly 6% daily gain. This lifted the total crypto market cap by about 5%, driven by spot and perpetual buyers and futures volume.
The rally reclaimed the 50-week moving average for Bitcoin, which it had not cleared since November 2025, and broke through the one-year MA of $80,061.
According to CryptoQuant analyst Mark Casar, a break above the two-year MA near $88,761 could unlock a stronger bull trend for Bitcoin. If this momentum continues, it may indicate a new high for the leading cryptocurrency in the coming months.
