Bitcoin Breaks Above $86,000 as Analyst Identifies Bullish Targets for Major Altcoins
Bitcoin has broken above $86,000, ending its recent trading range between $82,000 and $85,000. The move has reignited debate over how far this current cycle can run.
Analyst Ali Martinez has published technical projections for major assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana.
Martinez' analysis points to substantial upside if key levels are breached, but he emphasized that these are technical projections rather than guaranteed outcomes. He noted that Bitcoin's price has traded within an ascending channel over the past two years and is facing its first significant test at the previous all-time high around $125,000 to $126,000.
A decisive break above this level could put the channel's upper boundary near $190,000 in focus as a potential cycle target. Institutional demand for Bitcoin remains strong, with spot Bitcoin ETFs attracting over $57.6 billion in cumulative net inflows.
