Bitcoin Breaks Eight-Month High as Market Sentiment Improves
Bitcoin surged to an eight-month high on September 21, as market sentiment improved and the rally that began last week continued.
The cryptocurrency jumped 5.1% to $85,222 at the start of morning trading in New York, according to Bloomberg.
Rival digital assets also saw gains, with Ether rising more than 4.3% to $2,747 and other cryptocurrencies like XRP, Solana, and Monero posting increases.
The rally is attributed to a combination of factors, including falling oil prices and optimism ahead of the summit between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
