Bitcoin Breaks Out of Oversold Territory, Sets Stage for Potential Rally

Bitcoin's recent surge may be more than just a blip on the radar. According to Katie Stockton, managing partner of Fairlead Strategies, the cryptocurrency has cleared its 200-day moving average and is no longer oversold. This could indicate that a potential breakout is around the corner.

The Treasury's announcement last week, which saw the size of its liquidity-support buyback operations at least double, sparked Bitcoin's rally. The asset rose over 22% in just seven days, with prices reaching $78,915. It even briefly traded above $81,000 on Monday.

Stockton emphasized that Bitcoin is not yet overbought, suggesting that there may be more room for growth. She noted that a breakout above a resistance level is often followed by immediate follow-through to confirm the move.
