Bitcoin Breaks September Curse With Strongest Month Since 2012

Bitcoin is having its best September in 14 years, according to historical data. The cryptocurrency has gained around 10% since the beginning of the month, making it its strongest performance for September since 2012.

This milestone is particularly notable because September has historically been one of Bitcoin's weakest months. In fact, the cryptocurrency recorded negative returns in six consecutive years between 2017 and 2022.

However, this year's gain is substantial, with a current advance approaching the 13.1% mark achieved in September 2012. There is still more than a week left before the monthly candle officially closes.
