Bitcoin Breaks September Losing Streak, But Demand Wanes at $84K
Bitcoin closed September with a 6.33% gain, breaking away from its average loss since 2013.
This marks four consecutive years that September has ended higher for Bitcoin.
The buying momentum, however, has slowed as October begins.
Sporting Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a nine-day inflow streak come to an end on Wednesday, and long-term holders stepped up their selling.
A large wall of sell orders sits just above the current price at $84,198, which is up 0.9% over the past 24 hours.
