Bitcoin Bullish Signal Looms as Moving Averages Align
Bitcoin's price is on the verge of a major bullish signal, one that hasn't been seen in over a year. The cryptocurrency's 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages are nearing their first fully bullish alignment since June 2025. This alignment is a key indicator of upward momentum and has preceded major rallies in the past.
The current trend suggests that Bitcoin's three-month recovery has endured, with the token's price surging by over 40% to $87,000 in the third quarter. However, its advance has recently stalled near $85,000 due to a strengthened US dollar.
According to Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus exchange, a crossover between the 50-day and 100-day averages is imminent, followed by a crossover between the 100-day and 200-day averages. This would restore the order of 50-day above 100-day above 200-day for the first time since June 2025, indicating a strong bullish trend.
Subburaj warned that the real test now is whether Bitcoin can hold its 50-day average during a correction, as past alignments have been short-lived. He noted that the asset's price behavior afterwards will determine whether it becomes a sustained bull-market structure or another short-lived alignment.
