Bitcoin Bulls Eye $81,000 Breakout Point as Analysts Predict New Highs
Bitcoin has shown impressive resilience in the face of adversity, shrugging off setbacks including the CLARITY Act and interest rate hikes by major central banks. The cryptocurrency slumped to a three-week low at $75,000 on Tuesday and Wednesday but rebounded strongly on Friday, driving prices above $81,000 for a two-week peak.
Analysts are now eyeing this level as a key breakout point, with some predicting that a successful move through it could push prices towards $100,000 or even $120,000. Crypto Rover and CryptoGoos jointly highlighted $81,000 as the immediate barrier to be overcome, while fellow analyst EGRAG CRYPTO pointed to the 50-week moving average at around $81,700.
However, some analysts caution that breaking past this level may not be enough to confirm a bull market. According to CryptoGoos, reclaiming the 365-day MA near $82,000 and overcoming the resistance zone in this region would provide stronger evidence of a lasting uptrend.
