Bitcoin Bulls March On Amidst Bearish Market Dynamics
The crypto market is experiencing a shift in investor sentiment, with Bitcoin moving away from a weakness zone and toward a possible bullish phase. According to CryptoQuant's analysis, the extreme conditions associated with either a speculative bubble or a severe crash have faded.
However, despite this positive trend, overbought conditions are suggesting that bears might pull the bulls back. The RSI (Relative Strength Index) is in the overbought zone, and Bollinger Bands are widening, indicating high volatility in Bitcoin's price.
Furthermore, institutional investors are more defensively positioned toward Bitcoin than gold, according to JPMorgan. This means that if Bitcoin rallies, these hedges could be unwound, adding further buying pressure and potentially leading to a market impact of $1 trillion.
The current bearish picture is reinforced by the fact that crypto's Q4 outlook is turning cautious due to the Fed's 25 bps rate hike, rising Treasury yields, and a stronger U.S. dollar, which threaten liquidity and risk assets.
