Bitcoin Confronts Key Resistance Zones on Road to $90,000
Bitcoin is once again pushing towards the upper end of its recent price range, currently trading around $86,000, $86,300. This upward momentum comes after a strong recovery from September's lows.
The daily chart remains structurally bullish, with Bitcoin sitting comfortably above its major moving averages. The latest advance has also returned the cryptocurrency to the late-September high near $87,000.
However, there are several concentrated resistance zones on the road towards $90,000. Perpetual futures order data shows three particularly large sell orders around $86,900, $87,700, and $88,000. These levels are crucial to watch as they represent significant barriers to further price growth.
The first barrier at $86,900 is especially important because it overlaps with recent price action. A decisive move through this level would represent both a technical breakout and the absorption of a significant derivatives sell wall.
