Bitcoin Consolidates Around $62,000-$64,000 as Bulls Eye Recovery
Bitcoin has been consolidating around the $62,000-$64,000 price range after recovering from recent lows. The cryptocurrency's ability to defend its technical support zone has been a key development, with buyers repeatedly stepping in to prevent a deeper decline.
This suggests that demand is gradually returning, although a decisive breakout above nearby resistance levels is still required to confirm a stronger bullish trend. Institutional activity has also attracted attention, particularly from Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), which has strengthened its balance sheet by increasing its cash reserves to approximately $4 billion while maintaining one of the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holdings with over 842,000 BTC.
The broader macro backdrop remains mixed, with falling oil prices easing inflation concerns and providing some support for risk assets. However, higher Treasury yields and cautious institutional positioning continue to limit Bitcoin's upside momentum.
