Bitcoin Consolidates at $63,000 as Cardano's ADA Rebounds
The crypto market has seen some recovery in sentiment at the beginning of August, but mainstream tokens are showing significant divergence in their performance. Bitcoin is consolidating within a range around $63,000, with neither buyers nor sellers gaining an advantage.
According to technical levels, BTC is trading near its 50-day moving average of approximately $63,950 but still below the 100-day and 200-day moving averages at about $67,200 and $72,800 respectively. This indicates short-term volatility has narrowed, but longer-term pressure persists.
Trading volume has decreased, reflecting a wait-and-see attitude among investors. If BTC climbs above the $67,000 area, expectations for further advances may increase; if it falls below the $62,000 to $63,000 region, the price might retreat again to the $60,000 level.
Among other assets, Cardano shows relatively stronger short-term performance with a nearly 9% daily rise. However, its current price is approaching the long-term resistance of the 200-day moving average at approximately $0.197.
