Bitcoin Consolidates Near Highs as Ethereum and XRP Pause Their Gains
Bitcoin has stabilized near $86,300 after advancing more than 6% this week. Ethereum and XRP are also consolidating their gains, with Ethereum holding above clustered EMAs and facing a key resistance level at $3,000.
The collective price action indicates buyers remain in control, even as some traders appear to lock in profits after the recent sharp move higher. Bitcoin has broken and held above the previously identified horizontal level at $85,000, converting that zone into a new consolidation platform at elevated prices.
Ethereum is trading near $2,751, preserving a short-term bullish bias while staying comfortably above its main moving averages. The 50-day EMA is positioned at $2,371, with the 100-day and 200-day EMAs at $2,222 and $2,238, respectively.
XRP has extended a strong move higher that has seen five straight sessions of gains, trading comfortably above the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMAs. The RSI stands at 67, showing robust upward momentum while signaling that the rally could begin to lose steam if it extends without a pause.
