Standard Chartered's head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, has made a bold prediction about Bitcoin. According to Kendrick, Bitcoin could reach $100,000 by year-end due to increased US Treasury bond buying.

This forecast is based on the idea that expanded U.S. Treasury purchases of long-term bonds will support Bitcoin. As Kendrick explained, Bitcoin's fixed supply makes it an attractive hedge against currency debasement.

Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $68,336.85 on Binance's USDT market, up 5.49% from the previous day.
