Bitcoin Could Hit $400,000 by 2030, Predicts Coinbase CEO

Bitcoin's growth rate over the past decade has been impressive, reaching 34% compound annual growth. With rising institutional adoption, some predict it could grow even faster, at a rate of 47%. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes Bitcoin could soar to $400,000 by 2030.

According to Armstrong, if this prediction holds true, a relatively modest $500 investment in Bitcoin today could be worth nearly $2,500 by 2030. This growth would come from increasing institutional adoption and the creation of new financial products.

While the passage of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act was expected to boost institutional adoption, its absence has led regulators like the SEC and CFTC to fill the regulatory void with new crypto rule-making. Bitcoin ETF inflows are also being monitored as a proxy for institutional adoption.
