Bitcoin Defies Headwinds to Reach Eight-Month High
Bitcoin rose above $87,000 on September 23rd despite challenging macroeconomic conditions. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield had reached its highest level since 2007 at around 5.12%, while the Fed maintained a hawkish stance and inflation concerns persisted. However, this did not deter Bitcoin's rally, which saw it move above $86,000 for the first time in eight months.
The surge was supported by significant inflows into digital-asset investment products, with around $3.5 billion flowing in over five trading days. BlackRock accounted for roughly half of these inflows, helping to drive Bitcoin's price upwards.
As the market continues to navigate these uncertain conditions, analysts will be watching closely to see if Bitcoin can sustain a weekly close above $82,000. The next major test for the cryptocurrency may lie ahead, but for now, it remains resilient in the face of adversity.
