Bitcoin Defies Tensions as Crypto Markets Surge
Crypto markets are defying geopolitical tensions and macroeconomic weakness, according to Bull Theory.
The research platform noted that Bitcoin (BTC) has surged 40% in the last three months, while Ethereum (ETH) has risen by 66%. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization increased by more than 30%
In contrast, commodities like gold and silver have lagged behind, with only a 6% gain for gold. Stock indexes like the S&P 500 have captured only a fraction of Bitcoin's returns.
Bull Theory highlighted that even though Bitcoin has outperformed other assets, its year-to-date losses still exceed those of gold, while the S&P 500 has posted a 12% return.
