Bitcoin Dominance Hits 60%, Fueling Crypto Market Optimism
Bitcoin's dominance has reached nearly 60% in the cryptocurrency market, signaling a shift in investor sentiment and a growing appetite for risk.
According to CoinDesk, the decline in Tether's (USDT) market share to around 6.3% indicates that investors are moving funds out of stablecoins and into cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
Oliver Caddick, head of marketing at Tesseract Group, is watching the 10-year real yield, which currently stands at around 3%. If it remains consistently above this level, Bitcoin is likely to retest the $80,000 to $82,000 range.
The recent increase in Bitcoin's market share has been accompanied by a decline in Tether's market share, which CoinDesk attributes to a change in investor behavior. This shift is seen as a sign of growing confidence in the cryptocurrency market and a willingness to take on more risk.
