A series of long-dormant Bitcoin wallets have recently become active, moving over $15 million in recent days. One wallet from 2011 gained more than a 2.5 million percent return on its original cost.

The largest move came first, with a 146.06 BTC stash worth about $11.31 million remaining untouched since November 2013 and showing a gain of about 12,902% from a cost basis near $595.

A smaller wallet held 40 BTC bought at an average price near $3 in November 2011, turning roughly $120 into about $3.09 million after nearly 15 years.
