Bitcoin ETF Demand Hits Record $2.39 Billion Amid Price Retraction
Bitcoin ETFs experienced a significant influx of $2.39 billion over five sessions, with BlackRock's IBIT leading the charge at approximately $1.16 billion.
The largest daily total was $999 million on Monday, but demand slowed dramatically throughout the week, falling by roughly 87% by Friday.
Despite the strong institutional demand, Bitcoin itself retreated towards $84,000 as it encountered existing holder supply and miner transfers to exchanges.
Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Hyperliquid ETFs collectively added about $963 million, showing that fund demand extended well beyond BTC.
