Bitcoin ETF Inflows Fall, but Analyst Sees Sustainable Recovery
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a significant influx of funds in September, with net inflows totaling $2.65 billion. This was the second-highest monthly total since October 2025, according to SoSoValue data.
Bitcoin ETF inflows did, however, fall from the $3.52 billion recorded in August. Ether ETFs also saw a decline in inflows, from $1.85 billion in August to $832.43 million in September.
Dominick John, an analyst at Zeus Research, believes that the fund flows indicate a continued institutional demand. This could point to a more sustainable recovery in the market, according to John.
On the first trading day of October, Bitcoin ETFs saw $102.7 million in net inflows, while Ether ETFs recorded $55.4 million in net outflows. John suggests that investors will continue to monitor ETF flows and economic data from the U.S. to determine the direction of institutional demand.
