Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit 11-Month High, Fueling Rally Above $86,000
Bitcoin hovered around $86,000 on Wednesday after US spot Bitcoin ETFs drew their largest single-day inflow in 11 months, totaling nearly $1 billion. This influx marked a significant milestone for the cryptocurrency, pushing it above its 365-day moving average for the first time since March 2023.
According to Prateek Gupta, Head of Business at Mudrex, this move also pushed BTC above its 365-day moving average, which could open doors towards the $100,000 mark if sustained. The Coinbase Premium Index remains negative, suggesting that this rally has leaned more on futures and ETF flows than organic spot buying so far.
The global crypto market capitalization was down 0.08% to $2.92 trillion, with the crypto fear and greed index standing at 78, indicating sentiments between 'Greed' and 'Extreme Greed'. Balaji Srihari, VP - Business, India at CoinSwitch, noted that BTC surged to $87.4K, its highest level since January 2026, as strong institutional demand accelerated the move.
