Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit Record High as Institutional Demand Builds
Bitcoin ETFs saw their strongest weekly inflows since October 2025, totaling $2.06 billion as of September 23. This surge in demand has led crypto analyst Scott Melker to believe that investors are building a floor under the price of Bitcoin.
Melker pointed out that recent demand for Bitcoin's ETFs is not limited to BlackRock's IBIT fund, but rather is spread across multiple products. He sees this as evidence of broader institutional and retail interest in Bitcoin, rather than just arbitrage-driven positioning.
The analyst also rejected the idea that Bitcoin's rebound from $60,000 was solely driven by a short squeeze. Instead, he believes that many ETF investors are buying Bitcoin exposure with a long-term horizon, creating a sustained floor under the price.
Melker emphasized that this is not just a temporary phenomenon, but rather a sign of growing confidence in Bitcoin as an investment opportunity.
