Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit Record High as Price Stalls Near $84K
Bitcoin ETF inflows have reached a new record high of $2.39 billion in a single week, according to data from SoSoValue. This surpasses the previous weekly record set in August, and marks the strongest weekly total for 2026 so far.
The influx of funds into U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has been consistent over the past seven sessions, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust leading the charge with $96.99 million in net inflows on Sept. 25. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund followed closely behind with $49.32 million.
Despite this strong demand for ETFs, the price of Bitcoin has held steady near $84,000 over the past week, according to CoinMarketCap data. This divergence between ETF demand and BTC price performance is notable, as it suggests that institutional flows are not yet translating into uninterrupted spot gains.
However, Glassnode's analysis indicates that there is still a significant block of long-term holder supply concentrated around $84,000-$85,000, which could provide resistance to further price increases. The next major on-chain resistance level identified by Glassnode is near $96,700, linked to the mean Market Value-to-Realized Value price ratio.
