Bitcoin ETF Inflows Reach Record Levels, YTD Numbers Turn Green
The spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant inflows in recent weeks, with $2.39 billion entering the funds last week alone. This has pushed the cumulative total net inflows to $57.55 billion and turned the year-to-date (YTD) numbers green after a rough start to the year.
In June, investors pulled out a record $4.51 billion from the funds, leaving them nearly $5.5 billion in the red YTD. However, since July, the narrative has shifted with modest inflows and then significant gains in August and September.
The spot Ethereum ETFs also saw strong inflows, attracting almost $700 million last week and offsetting losses from previous weeks. They now have cumulative net inflows of nearly $14 billion.
Crypto analyst Crypto Rover believes that institutional money is accumulating at a rapid pace, shortening the bear market dramatically and potentially driving Bitcoin closer to its all-time high.
