Bitcoin ETF Inflows Retreat to $55B After Briefly Topping $101B
The US spot Bitcoin ETF market has seen significant fluctuations in cumulative net inflows. As of now, they stand at around $55B, a retreat from the peak of roughly $63B hit back in October 2025.
This figure has bounced up from a trough near $50B, with late August and early September 2026 seeing a vigorous stretch of buying, with approximately $3.8B pouring into spot Bitcoin ETFs over roughly three weeks.
Total assets under management briefly surpassed the $101B threshold but then saw sharp outflows in mid-September, including single-day net reductions of $296M and $450M on September 15 and 16 respectively.
The current total Bitcoin held across all ETF products is around 649K BTC, with net asset values fluctuating between roughly $95B and $103B depending on Bitcoin's price at any given moment.
