Bitcoin ETF Inflows Slow to $31 Million as $84,000 Resistance Holds Firm
The pace of institutional buying that propelled Bitcoin's price higher in September has slowed significantly. According to recent data, U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) pulled in just $31 million on Monday, their weakest single-day total since the current inflow streak began over a week ago.
This figure marks a sharp deceleration from the nearly $1 billion that flooded in on September 21, when institutional investors showed a strong appetite for Bitcoin. The funds' run of consecutive positive sessions now stands at eight trading days, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) capturing $54.84 million in net inflows.
The supply wall at the $84,000 to $85,000 price range remains a formidable challenge for Bitcoin. Glassnode data highlights a dense concentration of long-term holder positions within this band, making it a key area of resistance for the cryptocurrency's price action.
