U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs have seen significant investment in recent days, with net inflows exceeding $1.7 billion over just two trading sessions. This surge in investment follows Bitcoin's price rise above the average entry price of fund participants. According to data, on September 21, inflows amounted to $714.75 million, while the previous day saw a record $998.95 million for 2026. The total net assets under management for these ETFs have risen to $111 billion, which is 56% higher than the June low of $71 billion but 13% below the January peak of $128 billion.

BlackRock's IBIT attracted the majority of funds on September 22 with $350 million, while Fidelity's FBTC received $257 million. Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart noted that the average ETF share buyer is now in profit for the first time since January. He calculated that the average purchase price was $81,722 and pointed out that Bitcoin prices have risen nearly 14% over the past week, stabilizing around $86,500.

As of writing, Bitcoin is trading at around $86,190, having increased by 0.9% in the last 24 hours and 13.4% over the week. On September 23, prices briefly exceeded $87,000. CryptoQuant analyst Gaah pointed out that the MVRV MA30d has broken out of its accumulation zone for the second time this year, a pattern that often signals intense accumulation followed by strong returns.

Earlier in September, JPMorgan analysts stated that decreased demand for hedging in bitcoin ETFs could provide stronger support for the asset than gold. With the market conditions improving, it remains to be seen whether this trend will continue and what impact it may have on Bitcoin's price.
