Bitcoin ETF Inflows Soar to Seven-Week High Amid Low Trading Volume
Bitcoin ETF inflows surged to $853.5 million last week, marking their strongest weekly total since mid-April. This influx of capital came despite a significant drop in trading volume.
The largest contributor to Bitcoin ETF inflows was BlackRock's IBIT, which drew $693.7 million and accounted for more than 80% of the total. Fidelity's FBTC added another $116.4 million, representing roughly 13% of the inflows.
Meanwhile, Ether ETF inflows reached about $244.9 million, extending their winning streak to five weeks. This marks their longest weekly winning streak in 2026.
The Coldcard exploit, which affected certain Bitcoin cold-storage wallets and led to reported thefts exceeding $111 million, may have contributed to some of the buying pressure. However, Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas noted that part of the buying could be linked to the exploit.
