Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US have seen renewed demand from investors, drawing net inflows of $211.5 million on Tuesday, after $170 million on Monday, according to SoSoValue data.

The inflow rebound comes as a high-profile Coldcard hardware wallet incident raises concerns about the safety of digital assets, particularly in comparison with regulated institutional custody.

Galaxy Research estimates that up to 7,300 addresses may have been affected by the hack, with suspected losses around $130 million. Bloomberg Intelligence's Eric Balchunas notes that the custody narrative could shift as investors compare institutional safeguards with smaller crypto players.

The Coldcard incident has reintroduced risk questions for many ETF investors, who previously treated asset protection as settled through regulated custody frameworks.
