Bitcoin ETF Investors Rebound with $3 Billion in Unrealized Profits
After eight months of being underwater, U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETF investors have finally broken even with their investments. The recent surge in Bitcoin's price, which reached nearly 7% on Monday, has reclaimed an average estimated cost basis of $82K for these investors.
The sudden recovery brought about a massive relief for the investor group, who now hold around $3B in unrealized profits. This is a stark contrast to their peak losses of $22B during the summer drawdown.
Interestingly, despite Bitcoin's 50% price decline, ETF investors remained resilient throughout this period and continued to pour in funds, totaling over $55B in total inflows.
The current trend suggests that these investors may be holding on to their positions for now. With the products attracting nearly $1B in net daily inflows ($998M), the highest since last October, it seems they are ready to ride out the potential next bull run.
