Bitcoin ETF Sees $242M Inflow as BTC Price Eyes Key Historical Retest

Investors have returned to the market for spot Bitcoin ETFs, with $242.3 million flowing in on August 27. This follows a period of mixed flows, indicating ongoing demand despite recent price volatility.

The latest inflow pushed the cumulative net flow for tracked Bitcoin ETF products to around $54.9 billion. However, not all funds saw increased activity - IBIT recorded the largest inflow at about $277.6 million, while FBTC posted an outflow of $83.6 million.

Despite the mixed activity, continued demand from investors could remain a crucial part of the market picture as they assess the next major move for the Bitcoin price.

The price itself is currently near a key historical area, with crypto analyst Jelle pointing to a weekly bullish divergence forming. This setup draws comparison to September 2020, when Bitcoin retested an earlier major level before entering a stronger phase of its market cycle.
