Bitcoin ETFs Add $31M as Winning Streak Hits Eight Sessions
Bitcoin ETFs continued their winning streak, adding $31.07 million in net inflows on Monday, September 28. This brings the cumulative inflow across the past eight trading sessions to roughly $3 billion. Blackrock's IBIT fund led the session with $54.84 million, while Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust added $10.32 million.
The softer flow comes after bitcoin ETFs attracted $2.39 billion last week, their strongest weekly total since October 2025. Bitcoin's price dipped to a weekly low above $82,500 on Monday but rebounded back above the $84,000 mark in the afternoon. The price remains near $84,000 as of this writing.
Ether and Solana ETFs also stayed positive for a seventh consecutive session and sixth session, respectively, with ether drawing roughly $17.1 million and solana bringing in $12.70 million. XRP funds added $3.96 million on Monday, while Zcash moved into outflows after three sessions without net movement.
Lacie Zhang, research lead at Bitget Wallet, said the latest bitcoin price pullback appears driven largely by macro forces, including higher Treasury yields, a stronger dollar, and profit-taking after the recent rally. Eric Balchunas, Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst, highlighted the role ETFs are playing in opening bitcoin to traditional wealth-management channels.
