Bitcoin ETFs Attract Institutions as Remittix Targets Retail Crypto Payments
Bitcoin ETF inflows in early October have sparked renewed institutional interest in the crypto market, with BTC trading around $86,000 on October 5. The positive flow days on October 1 and 2 highlighted the growing confidence among conventional investors, who are increasingly using spot Bitcoin ETFs as a familiar entry point into the crypto space.
While institutions focus on Bitcoin ETFs, Remittix is targeting the retail end of the market with its PayFi gateway. This service allows users to convert crypto into fiat and deposit it directly into their bank accounts. The company has invited 1,000 of its 40,000 presale participants to test the initial EUR and USD options, aiming to demonstrate the practicality of crypto-to-fiat transactions for everyday users.
Remittix's ecosystem also includes an iOS wallet with over 10,000 downloads and a live Markets platform that has processed more than $50 million in cumulative volume. The company believes that integrating these products into a single app could drive repeat usage, setting the stage for the planned November 24 launch of its RTX token.
The World Bank estimated global remittance flows at $856 billion in 2024, presenting a massive opportunity for Remittix. If PayFi gains traction, it could tap into a significant portion of this market, offering a recurring fee-based service. With $32 million raised toward a $36 million presale cap and a final tier priced at $0.46, RTX investors will be watching closely to see if Remittix's products gain sustained adoption before the token debut.
