Bitcoin ETFs Draw in Record $6.34 Billion as Prices Rise
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw significant net inflows in the third quarter, totaling $6.34 billion. This is the largest quarterly influx of funds into these ETFs this year.
The inflows mark a reversal from the second quarter, when there were about $5.0 billion of net outflows. The shift coincides with Bitcoin's 42.71 percent price increase in the third quarter, its strongest since 2017.
Ethereum spot ETFs also posted net inflows of $3.05 billion in the third quarter, after seeing about $714 million of net outflows in the second quarter. Ethereum rose about 71 percent over this period.
