Bitcoin ETFs extend inflow streak as Ether ETFs see outflows
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) extended their streak of positive inflows for a third straight week, while Ether ETFs saw a reversal to net outflows. According to data from SoSoValue, Bitcoin ETFs drew in $241.1 million last week, bringing their cumulative net inflows to $57.8 billion. This follows two prior weeks of inflows, totaling $2.4 billion and $6.2 million respectively, with year-to-date net inflows now around $1.2 billion.
In contrast, Ether ETFs experienced $138 million in net outflows after a previous week of inflows totaling $690 million. Year-to-date net inflows for Ether ETFs stand at approximately $1.5 billion. At the time of publication, Bitcoin was trading at about $86,200, up 3.7% over the past week, while Ether was at $2,727, up 3% over the same period.
Among other altcoin ETFs, Zcash funds recorded their first weekly outflow on record, shedding around $94 million. Meanwhile, Solana and XRP ETFs continued their inflow streaks, adding $2.4 million and $4.7 million respectively. Crypto market sentiment also softened, with Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index dropping to 70 from 74, remaining in “Greed” territory.
