US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) resumed net outflows this week, marking their second consecutive week of withdrawals. Since Monday, these funds have seen $151 million in net outflows, following a $681 million withdrawal the previous week. The latest data from SoSoValue shows that Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $262 million in outflows on Wednesday alone, reversing $176 million in inflows from the day before.
The outflows coincided with Bitcoin's decline below $82,000 after the release of the US inflation report on Wednesday. At the time of publication, Bitcoin was trading at approximately $80,741, representing a 3.2% drop over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
Other crypto ETFs also experienced outflows this week. Ether (ETH) ETFs shed around $130 million on Wednesday, bringing their weekly outflows to $190 million. Solana (SOL) ETFs recorded $1.3 million in outflows on Wednesday, extending their outflow streak to eight trading sessions with $3 million in withdrawals this week. Zcash (ZEC) ETFs saw $3.7 million in inflows on Wednesday but remained negative for the week with $3.2 million in outflows.
The only exception was XRP ETFs, which attracted about $740,000 on Wednesday, making them the sole category among the five tracked to post positive net flows this week.
