Bitcoin ETFs Flooded with $999M as BTC Holds Above $86,000
Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $999 million on Monday, September 21, according to Farside Investors data. BlackRock's IBIT led at $381 million. Spot Ether ETFs added $270 million that same day, with BlackRock's ETHA taking in $110 million.
The inflows were spread across multiple funds. ARK 21Shares' ARKB drew $289 million and Fidelity's FBTC $239 million. Morgan Stanley's MSBT added $62 million and Bitwise's BITB $22 million, while Grayscale's GBTC posted a small $3 million inflow.
This marks the third straight session of net inflows for Bitcoin ETFs, bringing the total since September 17 to roughly $1.59 billion. This follows two heavy days of redemptions earlier in the month, when the funds shed $450 million on September 15 and $296 million on September 16.
Bitcoin traded at about $86,558 as of Wednesday morning in Asia, up 1.25% over 24 hours and 13.9% over the past week. Ether was at roughly $2,764, up 0.5% on the day and 15.2% on the week.
