Bitcoin ETFs Fuel Institutional Appetite for Crypto Amid Rising Inflation Concerns

Financial institutions are increasingly incorporating Bitcoin into their investment portfolios thanks to the growing popularity of spot Bitcoin ETFs, according to Bloomberg's Eric Balchunas.

In August, total assets across BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF products approached $100 billion, with its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) remaining a standout product in terms of inflows.

Although only a small percentage of IBIT flows, estimated to be around 2% to 3%, comes from investors directly converting their BTC into shares, the broader trend suggests a significant shift towards institutional adoption.

'When you see all of them taking money, then you know people are into Bitcoin,' Balchunas said in an interview.
