Bitcoin ETFs Log Record $987M Weekly Inflows Amid Institutional Strength
Bitcoin ETFs attracted nearly $1 billion in new investments last week, marking their third consecutive positive week and extending their dominance over the broader crypto market. The latest surge brought the total to over $3.5 billion for August, the best monthly performance since September of 2025.
The majority of these inflows came from BlackRock's IBIT fund, which attracted a whopping $691.5 million and accounted for roughly 70% of the total. This significant increase in investment highlights renewed institutional appetite for Bitcoin ETFs and may contribute to further price stability in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Ethereum ETFs also maintained steady traction, with US spot Ethereum funds posting $218.4 million in inflows. However, altcoin ETFs failed to sustain their momentum from the previous week, with products tied to Solana, XRP, and Hyperliquid seeing sharp declines in investment.
