Bitcoin ETFs Lose Record $450M Amid Stalled Crypto Bill
A major setback for US-listed Bitcoin ETFs has occurred after a significant crypto bill stalled in the Senate. The funds recorded their largest day of outflows since late June, with a net $450.4 million leaving on Tuesday.
This is the biggest outflow since June 24, when Bitcoin ETFs lost $469 million due to a tech stock sell-off that pressured risk assets. Fidelity's FBTC saw the most significant losses, shedding $214.8 million, followed by BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust at $161.7 million and Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust ETF (GBTC) at $44.1 million.
The price of Bitcoin currently stands at $75,700, down 2.5% over the last 24 hours according to CoinMarketCap.
