US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw their third straight day of inflows on Wednesday, reversing October’s earlier negative trend. The funds attracted $137 million in fresh investments, bringing the three-day total to roughly $424 million. This shift pushed October’s net inflows into positive territory at $111 million, according to data from SoSoValue.
October had started with outflows, particularly after nearly $774 million exited the funds over the final two trading days of the previous week. The rebound in inflows coincided with the US Federal Reserve’s decision to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at a target range of 3.75% to 4%. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh noted that inflation remained above the central bank’s 2% target.
Analysts suggest that Bitcoin’s near-term performance may now hinge more on Treasury yields, dollar movements, and broader risk sentiment. At the time of writing, Bitcoin traded at $79,848, down around 1% over the past 24 hours. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index held steady at 51, or “Neutral,” for a second consecutive day.
In contrast, Ether ETFs continued to see withdrawals, shedding another $21 million on Wednesday. October’s net outflows for Ether ETFs now total $1.35 billion. Ether traded at $2,310, down 1.7% over the past 24 hours.
