US spot Bitcoin ETFs ended last week with $301 million in net inflows, breaking a two-week streak of outflows. The positive shift came despite significant withdrawals late in the week, following a strong start. The previous week saw outflows of $228 million, and the week before that recorded $680 million in withdrawals. October’s net outflows now stand at approximately $314 million, according to data from Farside Investors.

However, investors withdrew about $774 million on Thursday and Friday as Bitcoin’s price retreated toward $80,000. Research by market maker DWF Labs highlighted that ETF investors tend to sell during Bitcoin declines, noting net outflows during seven of eight Bitcoin sell-offs of at least 15% since the launch of US spot Bitcoin ETFs in January 2024.
