Bitcoin ETFs Reverse Course with $90 Million in Outflows
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a sharp reversal on Monday, shedding $89.9 million in outflows. This shift came after two days of inflows totaling around $293 million, with total trading volume reaching $2.18 billion, according to data from SoSoValue. The pullback coincided with Bitcoin's price slipping below $86,000, marking a roughly 32% decline from its all-time high of $126,080, which was reached exactly one year prior on Oct. 6, 2025.
Since hitting that record high, cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs have decreased by 5.8%, falling from approximately $61.3 billion to $57.7 billion as of Monday. The outflows extended to US spot Ether (ETH) ETFs, which recorded roughly $51 million in net outflows, marking the fifth consecutive trading day of losses. These funds have lost a combined $206 million over this streak, with cumulative net inflows now standing at $13.8 billion.
Other altcoin ETFs showed mixed results on Monday. Solana (SOL) and Zcash (ZEC) funds experienced net outflows of $9.3 million and $3.6 million, respectively. In contrast, XRP ETFs saw no net flows after posting $3.3 million in outflows on Friday.
