Bitcoin ETFs See Massive Inflows as Solana Speeds Up Blocks
Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw significant inflows last week, totaling $1.918 billion in net inflows. BlackRock's IBIT led the charge with $1.331 billion in weekly net inflows, bringing its cumulative total to $62.43 billion. Fidelity's FBTC was a close second, with $293 million in weekly net inflows and a cumulative total of $10.18 billion.
Solana has made significant strides in reducing network latency by shortening the mainnet slot time from 400 milliseconds to 350 milliseconds. This reduction is expected to further decrease leader rotation interval times, improving overall network performance.
Stablecoin-funded crypto card spending reached a new monthly high of $1.03 billion in July, according to PaymentsScan data. The figure represents a 16% increase from June and a nearly 200% increase from the same period last year.
